-The FX replica is built into a 1:1 scale replica of the power supply unit that sits behind the Drive Circuit unit in the BTTF Delorean.
-This unit runs on 12vdc and can be connected to your cars battery or any 12vdc power source.
-The Deluxe FX unit contains a 4 channel self-contained 24 watt amplified sound board, that when triggered produces four of the famous sounds that were made during the movie. For example: Turn the Drive Circuit handle to on and hear the Time Circuits come to life or push the red mushroom cap switch and hear the sound of the engine starting and running.. Also if you wire your door to the FX unit, every time you open the door you will hear the electronic whoosh sound as it rises. When you close the door you will hear the electronic gears winding down as it's lowering to a closed and latch position..
-One more feature is the sound of expelling smoke from the rear engine vents. If you were to connect a smoke/fog machine or fire extinguisher to your car, you could hear the amplified sound of the smoke/fog as it is released.
-Some relays may be required for some sound effects to take place. These relays are not included with this unit. You may purchase them separately. Some wiring is required. Wiring/connection schematic included.
-If specialized electronic sound effects are not needed/required for your BTTF Delorean Car, we do offer the Standard Power Supply Unit . ( non- working )
This prop is an accurate 1:1 scale replica of the power supply with interior electronic circuit boards for realism, but minus the 4 channel sound card and amplifier.. This is a dummy prop no power connection is required , no sound produced.
